DIXMIX

A PLACE FOR MY WORK .

A PART OF MY JOURNEY .

Quelqu’un was my first exhibition here.

I arrived with images, questions, fragments of a world I was still discovering  and DixMix gave them a room, an audience, and a moment in time. What began as an opening became, over the years, a kind of artistic home: a place where ideas could take shape, where experimentation was welcomed, and where I was given the freedom to keep becoming.

Looking back now, Quelqu’un feels like the beginning of a much longer conversation.

A conversation between the private and the public. A conversation between an artist and a gallery that chose to believe in the work.

For many years, DixMix Gallery hosted me, supported me, and allowed my work to exist in its particular way .. sometimes quiet, sometimes strange, sometimes difficult to define. I am deeply grateful for that generosity.

So this is not only a return to Quelqu’un.

It is a tribute to DixMix Gallery .. to the space, the people, the nights, the openings, the conversations, and all the memories that accumulated between its walls.

Every artist remembers the places where they were first given the chance to be seen.

For me, DixMix was one of those places.

And Quelqu’un was where it began.
