NOWHERE / SOMEWHERE

FOCUS GALLERY

NOWHERE / SOMEWHERE is an urban fashion photography project about freedom, movement, and wandering. The woman moves through an industrial city environment without a defined destination, using the city as both a physical landscape and a symbol of independence. The contrast between concrete structures, fences, and the softness of the figure reflects the tension between restriction and freedom. The fragmented photographs suggest that there is no single place she belongs to,  she can be nowhere and somewhere at the same time.

Some places don't lead anywhere.
Some lead everywhere.

This project marks my first exhibition, and with it comes a feeling that is difficult to put into words.. the uncertainty of stepping into something for the first time, of leaving behind what is familiar without yet knowing where you are going.

These images were created in spaces that often feel forgotten: industrial landscapes, empty streets, abandoned structures, places caught somewhere between presence and absence. Within them, I found a reflection of myself. The figure moves through these spaces without a clear destination, suspended between feeling lost and feeling free.

For me, Nowhere/Somewhere is not about arriving. It is about the space in between, the quiet moments of questioning, searching, becoming, and learning to exist without having all the answers.

There is vulnerability in showing this work for the first time. These photographs hold a part of my way of seeing the world, but also a part of who I am becoming as an artist.

Perhaps nowhere is not truly an absence of place.

Perhaps it is the place where we begin to find ourselves.
